I am trying to use it to get myself up and going with SuSE 9.0 on AMD/Intel. The problem I encountered was the gcc compiler collection that is standard with this distribution does not include the Objective-C compiler. I found this a major obstacle. I would appreciate it if you could add a note on this to your build guide.
I am a bit surprised by this posting. It surely is helpfull to have a guide on building a GCC wit Objective-C support, but for the mentioned platform (SuSE 9.0) this is not needed. SuSE has been delivering Objective-C support for years, the package you have to install is gcc-objc. You also need to add a few more packages to your system to have full GNUstep support, I just cannot remember which ones it was.
