By default, GNUstep uses Alt_L (left alt) as Command key.But many programs uses this key as Meta (z.B. emacs, terminal programs). May be more optimal move Commant to other key, z.B. Window-key (Super_L).
See .../Library/Documentation/User/Gui/KeyboardSetup.html. I suppose the command you'd want is something like: defaults write NSGlobalDomain GSFirstCommandKey Super_L __armando
