With the 3.4.x versions I tried, I get an ICE (there is a workaround
which consists of specifying extra options to gcc, that I used 1 year
ago, but I can't remember it) ; and with the last 4.0.0 version I
tried, there is another problem already in the configure step (because
gcc-4.0.0 can't link properly an Objective-C program that has a .c
extension).
3.3.x (like 3.3.5) versions works well, for 3.4.x versions may be it is
related to http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11572
… otherwise why not replace the .c extension by .m ?
