thank you very much, I did used ./configure --disable-gsnd in gnustep-gui and the installation did complete successfully :) For now I will try to use it "as is", but for the future I will be very pleased if there is a way to enable sound.

Denis

Hi,
I'm trying to install GNUstep on NetBSD version 2.0.2, GNUstep-make and base are OK, but GNUstep-gui fail on build, troubles seem to be related to portaudio in gsnd, where paths seems to be missing. Does this problem has been already addressed?

Hi,

You should have audiofile library installed ( optional )
You can disable gsnd ./configure --disable-gsnd ...
