Halt! There's a GNUstep port on OpenBSD. I just checked it this very
weekend and it worked for me on 3.8.

Additionally there was a small discussion about why the GNUstep port
isn't included in the ports tree yet. Except of some barfing of some
trolls who didn't read my email there was no satisfying answer at all.
I guess it's all about tests. No one did them. If you want this port,
do some tests and report them to ports openbsd org.
However if you want latest CVS you've to compile (of course). But you
really should test the port so it gets included.
