Hello all,
I am observing a weird behaviour of NSBrowser and don't know whether
this is related to the focus problems discussed in another thread or is
somehow intended, since it's somehow consistent.
From a user prespective I see that NSBrowser can be in two states:
State A: Moving with the mouse of the rows of a column (no click)
causes the cell under the mouse pointer to be highlighted. No update of
the next column takes place. Key up, key down does not work.
Singleclicking on any row brings us to State B.
State B: Key up and key own works, the next column is updated according
to the selection change. Singleclickingon any cell brings us back to
State A instead of directly selecting the clicked cell
Is this behaviour intended? As mentioned this is incompatible with
MacOSX and OPENSTEP and rather confusing (although somehow consistent).
Regards,
Andreas
