Sorry, it must be

- (void) _postSelectionDidChangeNotification
{
   int index = [_selectedRows firstIndex];
   if (index != NSNotFound) [self scrollRowToVisible:[_selectedRows 
firstIndex]];
   [nc postNotificationName:
        NSTableViewSelectionDidChangeNotification
      object: self];
}
