Hi,
I thought I might inform this list that I've been spending some of my free time
developing a new application with GNUstep. It's an AOL Instant Messenger
client, which I'm calling "Grouch.app" (a very bad pun on "OSCAR", the name of
the AIM protocol). This has been written from scratch; it contains no code
from any other AIM client.
I make no promises about the quality of its code or the application; it is
missing important features (there is currently no way to edit the buddy list),
but, it's getting to the point where I can now use it as my primary AIM client,
so I figure I might as well start telling other people about it.
Here is the website:
http://mail.rochester.edu/~asveikau/grouch
I've also registered it with freshmeat which is now pending:
http://freshmeat.net/projects/grouchapp/
Regards,
Andrew Sveikauskas
