Thanks - can you be more explicit ? :-)
Do you mean on different platforms the same asm file might need different
commands to be compiled into an .o file ?
(I also seem to remember that there are two asm syntaxes, nasm and gasm or
something like that)
Anyway, if you are familiar with the issue and have any practical
suggestion of what should happen on different platforms, I can implement
your suggestions into gnustep-make.
If you think it would be too complex / would create more problems than it
solves, well, we'll leave it out ;-)
