I am quite certain that the policy of the GNU Project, and that of the
GNUstep Project, which follows it, won't change because of those
people.  Perhaps they do not really understand what exactly is the
copyright assignment and why it's necessary?

It is much better to be on the safe side even if that means slower
development.
