Ah, thanks, you remind of the other HUGE disavantage of Xcode :-) The
format changes with every single revision more or less prohibiting
mixed version development.
This would be a really good application of proper XML. It can't be so
hard to write a project parser/serializer which emits a sensible XML
format representing the actual project structure. And one which could
probably converted to (gstep) makefiles easily.
Anyway, thats just Xcode arghhhhh stuff and doesn't really belong on
this list ;-)
