Hi folks,
Try this excellent walkthrough/guide:
http://www.gnustep.net/Documentation/BuildGuide/develop.html
Everything worked fine for me on Ubuntu 6.06 by following that.
It would be good to have binaries of GNUstep for certain distributions. Is there a script floating round that will extract my current Ubuntu 6.06 GNUstep environment so that Ubuntu people can have an easy install?
Dan.

Making under base builds the library fine, but I forgot to get the error
message at that time... I simply went directly to where the error occurred to
make things easier.
Regardless, it still refuses to link.
Thoughts?
Michael
