Just wondering what we'll be using to redirect where the files end
up?  I guess I suggested DESTDIR on the previous discussion, but
just wondering where are we moving to!

That has never been recommended in general; it is going to become more and
more
problematic in the 'native' setups (eg, 'native Unix' setup), so it's now
strongly
recommended to remove any such harcoded settings. :-)
