the outputs of the various configure scripts ?

PS: Do you have a tarball with the building scripts in it, that I can
just try out on a GNU/Linux box ? That would be ideal.
Yeah, no problem! I'm using a custom build script, which is usually what is done for Slackware... I've attached it to this e-mail with the output! It always stops before finishing configure on -base with the same error!
