I have a clear defintion what it mean: a single .app that you launch  
once and has a single Windows menu.

But you don't need to use all functions. You can either open a NIB  
file with it or a .h/.m file. Nobody is forced to do both.

I agree, that there are pros and cons for both approaches and there  
is no "best" solution - so if the GNUsteppers decide not to go that  
way - it's ok.
