That may be the case for you, but certainly isn't for many other
people. When I used to write NeXTStep / OpenStep applications for a
living we hardly ever used Project Builder. It was opened occasionally
when we needed to add a new class file, and then closed down again.
The rest of the time we were designing interfaces in IB and writing
actual code.
The only people I have ever seen spend significant amouts of time inside
Project Builder are those who use it's inbuilt editor to actually write
code. Which is fine - but then your argument boils down to simply
wanting your favourite text editor integrated into interface builder.
Hardly a compelling reason for combining the two really.
These two applicatons used to be combined, and they were sseparated
out for a very good reson (they peform different functions).
