Just a nit-pick clarification: Ubuntu gets its GNUstep packages from
Debian. There are several other Debian-based distributions
(e.g. GNewSense, etc.) that can also get Debian's GNUstep packages. And
the Debian packages are produced independently from the GNUstep team.
(And I think that other people are supporting other GNU/Linux
distributions too.)
