No, The app wouldn't start at all- it just segfaults. I have upgraded my
gnustep version, now the backtrace is different:

I have tried both the art and cairo backend and got the same
backtrace. Maybe the segfault is platform/OS dependent- I am using Linux
on a x86 machine.
