thunderbird application wrapper

Hi all,

does anyone of you guys managed to configure a GNUstep application 
wrapper for thunderbird that allows to open *.eml files via a 
doubleclick?

When I do

        thunderbird test.eml

on the command line, thunderbird pops up, but it does not open the mail 
in test.eml. I have to go into the menu and use the Open File function. 
which is rather annoying! :-(

Anyone?
