Hi,
What was achieved - updated Makefile system- slightly simplified architecture (UKNibOwner class removed from hierarchy)- License uniformed to GPL v3 or later (with consent of Mr. Noack) - various bug fixes, including some that made x86-64 crash - memory fixes - made gcc 2.95 compatible - other portability fixes, found during the Windows and Macintosh port - New Windows port!- New Mac OS X port! (works with 10.4, on 10.3 it compiles fine but has some strange runtime exceptions)
I forgot to add that viewing an article in WWW now doesn't try to launch a web-browser from the command line, it passes the open URL command to NSWorkspace. No more kludge, this is the standard way of doing it and works perfectly on the Mac! On GNUstep if you use current SVN trunk, it will dutifully open Vespucci or the browser you set using the mew Internet Systemp Preferences.
Riccardo
