I am replying to myself but as of now nobody has volunteered to bring one of the things mentioned below:

- a pair of computer speakers
- a second projector (we'll get one from the FOSDEM organizers) with adapters

isn't this going to happen?

cheers,

Hi everybody,

it would be nice if somebody could bring one of the following things to FOSDEM:

- a pair of computer speakers
- a second projector (we'll get one from the FOSDEM organizers) with adapters
- some printed out material (flyers, brochures and so on)
- Live-CDs anyone? (we could bring blank CD-Roms or DVDs and burn them ad hoc)

What do we need that for? Gregory Casamento is presumably giving his speech via Skype. We did something similar before when David Chisnall gave his speach via iChat:

From that experience we know that the build in speakers of a computer are to silent and that the screen of a laptop is to small.

we would need the flyers and brochures for people to take away so they have something printed about GNUstep in their hands

Btw. Tim Käck will bring a tripod plus video camera so we can record the talks. I will bring a small router and a multiple plug. Bring your own ethernet cables!

cheers,

        Lars
