Hello David:Developing with gnustep-base without a GUI should be no problem at all. Also, an alternative to Xcode would be to use gnustep-make on both Mac and non-Mac platforms. Makefiles for gnustep-make are easy to write, and that way, you wouldn't be dependent on a proprietary IDE.
