Hi,are you running latest gui? There was a bug that affected loading imagereps which affected thumbnails. You reported it yourself and I fixed that, but since I was unable to reproduce it, I could not test if the fix was correct. Fred fixed my fix later.

Indeed. I am not convinced we are perfectly right on that, since Cocoa does not require that, it might have certain exceptions about 72dpi. However I couldn't come up with good Examples for Eric and just decided to adapt. It is not an unreasonable requirement, just tedious for our existing stuff.Am 01.09.2011 20:01, schrieb Eric Wasylishen: [snipped explanation] Clear enough for me to understand that all UI related images have to be in 72x72 dpi.

The icons in GWorkspace are drawn correctly now, except if I set GSUseFreedesktopThumbnails to YES. Here, it seems that only the first thumbnail is loaded from $HOME/.thumbnails and cached. At least for all other files of the same type this cached image is used, i.e. all PDF icons look the same. Might of course be, that on this machine not for all PDFs exist freedesktop thumbnails and that this is a fallback. But in that case I'd expect the standard file type icon to appear.
