Greg and Doug are currently working on the NSXML classes which will result in a complete rewrite based on libxml. Still I would not call the current version of NSXMLDocument "mostly unimplemented", what seems to be missing is the XSLT bit, but the rest was basically there. It gets worse when you look at the other NSXML classes.
