Just tried installing GNUStep/Objective-C 2.0 on a new installation of Ubuntu 12.04 using the latest sources. Ran into some minor issues, so the wiki page has been updated to improve your chance of success. The issues addressed are:
- Latest LLVM now requires newer CMake (newer than 2.8.7 which is included with Ubuntu 12.04)
- Latest LLVM now requires GCC and G++ 4.8 (newer than 4.6 which is included with Ubuntu 12.04)
- Somehow I had omitted adding the libffi-dev package dependency
Enjoy,
Patryk
