I'd like it if we could find a student to help with CoreAnimation, AppKit+CoreAnimation and with UIKit.
There is a mail from Feb12 sent to summer-of-code@gnu.org where package maintainers who are willing to mentor are invited to submit ideas. I'm not officially a maintainer of anything, but I'd be willing to mentor people on the above subjects (with supervision by Fred, Gregory and David) -- or help with someone else mentoring.
