From my experience of trying to setup GNUstep on OS X…you dont need to.

Since you already used a Cocoa-esque API design, you should be able to transist 
to OS X in a blink.

Please note - OS X has even more dependency problems. We dont have a builtin 
package manager - apt, yum, pacman… - so you have to use either fink or 
macports. Both will terribly break release builds of software that link 
statically. Homebrew is okay, but hella confusing.

You could just try to compile your GNUstep code and see the errors it brings 
up. But as far as I am concerned, the API should be almost equal…
