As far as I know, GNUstep supports GCC down to at least version 4.0, so using the Apple supplied GCC 4.2.1 should not be a problem.

Now I do not want to use llvm because I think it is bloatware except maybe for garbage collection. So should I use latest GNU compiler or the apple native gcc (4.2.1) on 10.6 or not. If so I'll try to compile a latest gcc one for darwin10.
