It works like a charm, thank you ! All is up and running in a few minutes. Only SystemPreferences wasn't compiled because curl was missing on my fresh ubuntu install. It should be added to the list of dependancies.

I tested this on a couple different fresh installs.

I have noticed that MATE seems to be a better GUI than Unity when using the apps.
