I'll have a look up there. Maybe I can do something over there prior
to the coding period to understand better where exactly GNUstep is
regarding AppKit and CoreGraphics/friends implementations.

Thanks for the view on the proposal, and for clearing up using foreign
frameworks in GNUstep.

Also, I have submitted a proposal draft to the Google Summer of Code
website, and it's on this Google Doc:
I do not know if that will eventually land on you, but I'd appreciate
feedback, if possible, prior to sending the final version on Monday.

If you prefer not to load that Google Doc, please let me know and I'll
paste a plaintext version here.
