Ubuntu 16 comes preinstalled (by the supplier) on the boxes with drivers for
the touch screen and some telematic stuff. I try to add a GNUstep app to the
mix. Upgrading to some newer OS might break these others things (haven't tried
that yet though).
Is it likely that the problem is caused by the older Linux version? If so I
would go try the upgrade route but this might cause some trouble ob the other
end!?
