To clarify. The issue is not so much with GNUstep itself as it is with the dependencies. I don’t know if the installers on those pages are meant for windows xp or not. The other way would be to build from source. You would need to get mingw and build the dependencies if you can still get hold of them.

The release date of XP is October 25, 2001. This makes it over 20 years old. Is there a compelling reason it should be supported?

I went to the Windows installers page and was able to download and install all the installers in Windows XP. When I tried to run ProjectCenter and Gorm they both cited an error with libcairo-2.dll. A fix to this problem was to find the file and set the PATH variable to point to its containing folder. When I tried to run both programs again I saw another error. Does GNUstep support Windows XP? What are the official Windows system requirements?
