Think the good way is to pass by standalone minipc like raspberry pi where the tpe was connected and an appli send payement info to Dolibarr with xml

This functionality must be use too for printing problems too

I remember looking into it some years ago and the solution was, indeed, to use a Java lib borked into PHP with some abstraction layer.

It was a lot of hassle for very little benefit so our client made the decision to not go that way.

I can get to the archive and retrieve my research from that time if you're really dedicated ;)
