Hi, That's a great work and a great improvement. I would only point out that (at first look) there is no compatibility with old definitions so existing program that consume these APIs will have to be upgraded. I'm not concerned yet, but some thirparty softwares developers should be surprised if they want to call the API on a dolibarr that has been upgraded without them knowing... My 2 cents Christophe Le 21/06/2016 15:29, Xebax a écrit :
Hi, I have finished the first step of work on the REST API and submitted a pull request: https://github.com/Dolibarr/dolibarr/pull/5379 As explained in my previous mail, my goal was to make the definition closest to the common practices, and also to make the API browsable using the Restler API Explorer. I think there is more to be done to improve the definition of the API, especially regarding the response codes. For example when an object is created on the server the response code should be 201 and not 200. Other example: the response body sent when an object is deleted should be the same for all objects. The definition must be make uniform. I also want to add Members and Subscriptions to the API because I need them for a development we will start very soon in my association. But before continuing to work on the API, I would like to know if you are OK with the first changes I have done, even if they are not integrated immediately. Best regards, --
