If you need the login id and not the password, just keep the password empty. The password for members is not used. It is just an information stored when there is need to use dolibarr as a password referencial for members.

1) How are these passwords used? They are not used to log in to
Dolibarr because this is not possible for members, only users can (one
must be create an user linked to the member). And I think it is fine

2) The passwords of users are encrypted but the ones of members are
not. When an user is created from a member, his password is copied
from the member. So there is no point encrypting the password for
users because one can read the password in clear text in the members
table.
Is it possible to encrypt also the passwords of members? How?

3) What about removing these passwords and keeping onle the passwods
for users?

Note: I know it is possible to disable the login for members but I
can't because I need it. For me it is not a login, it is the
identifier of the member in our association (each member has an unique
id). So I need the id but no the password.
