Hello

The main goal of the 4.0 is to be php7 complient

So propose to maintain 3.x branch with php 5.3

My advice is we have les and less platform with 5.3

Since most of them are against PHP 5.3 and it is unsupported anyway (https://secure.php.net/supported-versions.php), maybe now is a good time to only support PHP 5.6 and up.

If we prefer to still support PHP 5.3, there's a bunch of dormant bugs for us all to fix ;)

What's your opinion ?
