Hello all,

It looks like we were all a little bit busy this week ;-) David and I are
back from France today, so we may be able to get a little more done
efficiently.

I think we need to put out our own press release today or tomorrow.

FSF was put under great time pressure by Ximian and we had little input,
because people were scattered and because others don't realize that we do
everything by total participation by the members through the list, which
takes more time.

As I understand it, FSF was planning a VERY different press release, but
couldn't get in contact with the right people to authorize it. Still, we need
to be very grateful to Richard and the FSF for what they have done for us. It
is still very good and will help a great deal.

Norbert, can you draft a press release along the lines of your response to
the article and allow others to comment and work on it once you post the
draft here? We need to highlight more the freedom and threat to freedom
issues you discussed. Also, we need to include FreeDevelopers involvement-
call it a *FreeDevelopers initiated and supported GNU project*. We need to do
this to buildup the CompanyCommunity and for me to advocate to government
effectively.
