Well, most of the dotGNU mailing list for starters? That is not a good sign. 
Every opinion piece on LinuxToday? Many of the people I work with?

Indeed. But to assume that *none* of them has a point is hubristic, surely. 
Look, all I am saying is that Mono so far has not done a good job of PR, 
relations with Portable.NET and dotGNU, and communication in general. Here we 
have an easy way to rectify all those issues in one fell swoop.

Would we not be foolish not to take that route?
