Hmm...not on my machine; I must be doing something wrong. Invoking mono took 
36 sec, invoking mint took 197 sec.

It's about 2500 lines of C# code that is definitely Not Ready For Prime Time, 
and is too much to include in a post. When it's complete, I'll set up a 
project on Savannah.

Anyway, my original post was not meant as a complaint, merely an interesting 
observation. I'm aware of the issues Rhys mentioned, which is why I stated 
that the results were probably irrelevant ;-)
