My own experience with dotgnu is exactly the opposite. It was amazing to be
create a graphical exe file which runs, with no changes, on Linux, Mac and
Windows. I am looking forward to demoing a piece of software to the local .NET
user group on a Mac - they'll be stunned. This is due to dotgnu, and to open
source in general. I hope contributors don't 'give up', kill themselves, or
worse, defect to the dark side. -- Rod
