Agreed, you didn't say that - I over-interpreted from the position of 
not being able to find any AIX information. Signs of frustration at 
this end...

Good that gives us a starting point for deciding how to proceed with 
AIX-PASE-OS/400.
GCC on AIX seems to be a common thread (with mono too...) rather than 
IBM's compilers.
