Hi SanskritFritz,
I'm glad you found it handy :)
I want to make it as convenient as possible.
To that effect, I'll provide some example .tbz files that can be imported.
They'll provide modules for backing up:
* the /etc folder (with excludes fine-tuned for ArchLinux, but should be compatible with most distros)
* a MediaWiki site along with its database (with pre-configured excludes like cache and thumbnail folders)
* a WordPress site and its database (with cache exclusions)
* a Drupal site with CiviCRM and their databases
* ... any other suggestions?
( These are the modules I currently use to backup the various elements of the Open Source Ecology site
And thanks for creating the ArchLinux PKGBUILD file!
I had started one for 'mkbp', so thanks for creating one for 'mbkp-hg' ;)
And for everyone, I'm open to suggestions about which features I should implement. Feel free to use the issue tracker at
Thanks,
Elifarley

Hi, this looks very handy. I just tried it shortly, it is nice and
convenient! I'll test it some more as time permits.
Meanwhile I saw your ticket on bitbucket about the archlinux package.
I created one for you, you may take it over if you wish.

Best regards, SanskritFritz
