I attempted both restorations using 'deja-dup 22.0-0ubuntu 2' .  This package was included in Ubuntu 12.04, also (I believe) in 11.10'

I will check to see if volume '1448' is missing. 
Volume '1447' did not transfer to my main hard drive when I attempted to copy files. 
Duplicity did manage to restore some folders and files when I recopied #1447 and retried the restore.
