although difficult to manage sometimes, there is also the possibility for you 
to assign a bounty to a problem fix/feature you wanna see in duplicity.

this way the project would profit directly from your generosity. but that's of 
course up to you and your willingness to find such a topic and patience for 
somebody to pick it up, which might never happen at all.
