is it possible that your system run's out of memory during the backup and starts swapping? please check your ram usage during a typical run. there was a change that raised the size of the manifest significantly.I have 16G installed, but it may be possible, I suppose... I have never noticed a general performance problem. I will have to check next time.Is the full manifest kept in memory the whole time, or only that for the current volume?best wishes,M.
