This bug report will be sent to the Bug-GNU-Emacs mailing list
and the GNU bug tracker at debbugs.gnu.org.  Please check that
the From: line contains a valid email address.  After a delay of up
to one day, you should receive an acknowledgment at that address.

Please write in English if possible, as the Emacs maintainers
usually do not have translators for other languages.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug, and
the precise symptoms of the bug.  If you can, give a recipe
starting from `emacs -Q':

1. Run emacs -Q
2. Type M-x speedbar
3. Right click the newly-created speedbar frame,
left click Speedbar > Use Images
4. With cursor in speedbar frame, type M-x linum-mode

At this point, the text buttons to the side of speedbar items, like <+>,
should change from green to black. If you any other elements of
speedbar-button-face are set, they will also revert to default. However,
if you click on an expand button (<+>), the buttons on its sub-items
will properly display speedbar-button-face.

If Emacs crashed, and you have the Emacs process in the gdb debugger,
please include the output from the following gdb commands:
    `bt full' and `xbacktrace'.
For information about debugging Emacs, please read the file
/usr/share/emacs/24.3/etc/DEBUG.

I can see this in Emacs 24.3, but not in the current emacs-24 branch,
which will become Emacs 24.4. So I think this is a duplicate of (part
of) bug #18035 which was recently fixed in the repository.

I'm closing this bug. Feel free to reopen if you find a way of
reproducing this in the current repository.

Thanks.
