Logging into GNOME, incorrect password drops you into Window Maker |

Hi,
I'm using GuixSD v0.10.0 with GNOME. I've noticed the following
surprising behavior:
At the graphical login screen, if you enter a password incorrectly, then
the text "session (F1 to change): GNOME" disappears.
At this point, if you enter the right password, you will be logged into
a "Window Maker" graphical environment - not GNOME! - which is a little
confusing.
I don't know why this happens, and I'm not even sure where to look
(e.g., log files) to figure out what's going on. Any advice would be
appreciated!

AFAICT this bug was fixed in commit 0b71c15c8 in October 2016:
```
gnu: slim: Do not reset session after failed login.
* gnu/packages/patches/slim-reset.patch: New patch.
* gnu/local.mk (dist_patch_DATA): Add it.
* gnu/packages/display-managers.scm (slim)[source]: Use it.
