Dear Emacs users,
I've been usings emacs for 1 year for bash script editing.
No problem until today where I discover this modeline
--11(DOS)---F1 getfiX.sh
(Shell-script)--L1--Top--------------------
I've search in the gnu-emacs book and in the Internet to find the
meanning of this (DOS) mention.
I use emacs only under linux.
Why this question ? Since this (DOS) appears it is no more possible
to execute my bash scripts.
if I do ls -al getfiX.sh I get -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 31200 Apr 1 getfiX.sh
that's to say that the script is executable
When I execute it I get syntax error : line 60 near unexpected token {
which is the 1st function of the bash script.
I think if I get an answer of the meaning of (DOS) mention which I've
never seen before it would be a hint to find out why my script
doesn't execute.
Thanks
Nadine
