Hmmm... you're right, judging from the code, iterators *are* expected to
iterate over the current buffer (a bit ugly, that).

It seems like the right thing to do is temporarily set the current
buffer to W's buffer, in either Fpos_visible_in_window_p or
pos_visible_p (or both?).
