There was some talk about this a while back and I wanted to find out if
anything has change in CVS.

I wanted to do absolute positioning with frames and tooltips around the (point)
but there was really no way to do this from lisp.

Has anything been changed in this regard?  Are there plans for this?

I would be excited if there was because I could start to work on my next
project.
